With 240 acres and amazing facilities, there’s always something to do at Camp Yamhill. You might enjoy:
The River. The beauty of our natural surroundings at Camp Yamhill is dominated by the Yamhill River and its tributary, Haskin’s Creek. Campers love cooling off in one of our swimming holes, water hiking in the creek or enjoying the peaceful sounds of the water as it rushes past Inspiration Point.
The Pond. Campers also enjoy fishing and canoeing in The Mill Pond. The pond has trout and is home to salamanders, turtles and beavers. If you’re fortunate, you might even spot a deer or one of the elk herds that live in the surrounding mountains.
The Woods. Hiking and sightseeing are popular activities at Camp. There are many trails and two guided prayer walks.
The Challenge Course. Our ropes course has a 900ft. zip line, giant swings, a 60ft rock-climbing wall, and 40 other high and low elements to challenge and delight campers while encouraging team-building.
Outdoor Games. We have a large sports field for football, soccer, volleyball and other sports, as well as a large outdoor basketball court.
Whatever your group is looking to do, Camp Yamhill will provide the natural surroundings to accent the experience. Many other activities are offered at Camp. Please contact us with special requests or activities.
