The Outdoor School program began in 2001 designed for Christian Schools and home schoolers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Schedule:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Schools are scheduled to accommodate camp availability and school schedules.&nbsp; Camp week is Tuesday \u2013 Friday during spring (April\/May) and fall (September\/October) with meals provided at lunch on Tuesday through lunch on Friday. Schools with very small classes may prefer to schedule combined 5th and 6th grade classes every other year.&nbsp; Individual students from home school situations must be accompanied by an adult. Typically, 4 to 5 schools are scheduled for a camp week with a student total of up to 80 students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What Camp Yamhill Provides for Outdoor School:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Teacher Information Notebook \u2013 includes detailed letter, schedules, and copies of all paperwork.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Parent Packets for each student \u2013 Information Letter, Student Health History form, Clothing check-list, Behavior Code, <a href=\"https:\/\/campyamhill.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/CC-Participant-Agreement.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Challenge Course Participant Agreement<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Student Notebooks \u2013 Provided before camp week in 3 ring binder to augment and reinforce activities and provide needed information.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>School Adult Notebooks \u2013 In addition to classroom teachers, classes are accompanied by parents (on average 2 females, 2 males), all referred to as School Adults. Notebook provides schedules and expectations. Parents accompany students during all daily activities and chaperone students in cabins.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Outdoor School Cabin Facilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Separate boys and girls heated cabins with bathhouses in each&nbsp;area.
